I thought this was the law...but most people do not stop....esp on hwy 264, but that has the median...I guess there, they dont have to...On River Road they would all have to stop on both sides...I have a Question....Busses do not release children on a 4 lane hwy except to exit on the side the bus door exits to...IN other words, children do not cross the 4 lane to the other side usually, do they?....Even though the all the cars must stop?

Thank-you

I hope all bus drivers have a safe year of driving this school year! Y'all have a very important job: toting our precious cargo to and from school every day! Thanks for all y'all do! And thanks BOCO Sheriff's office for posting this! The last picture was good to know about because I always thought without the median divider, everyone had to stop!

Thank you for sharing

I hope as many people as possible read this! Thank you so much for posting! The going the opposite direction on a 4 lane with a turn lane gets them every time.

Good information!

Thank you

This is really interesting. Particularly the part of a 4 lane with a turn median allows moving traffic. Am I right?

Thanks for sharing

Thank you Lt. Cox! I thought I knew all of these scenarios but I was wrong on one!

As a bus driver would be nice to have a sheriff posted up somewhere 264 towards college & river road @ times cause ppl speed pass while stop sign out red flashing lights
