This Week Beaufort County Crime Stoppers is asking for your help in solving a robbery. On December 21, 2019 at 10:45 pm, two employees were making a night drop deposit from a local business in Aurora at the Aurora Southern Bank. The victim stated the suspect came from behind a pole with a mask that had a skull on it, threw a tan book bag at him and told him to put the money in the bag. The suspect then then ran off toward the back of the bank. A Beaufort County Deputy was on scene within three minutes of the robbery and searched for the suspect with no avail with the help of additional deputies. If you have any information on this crime, please call Crime Stoppers at 252-974-6400. Crime Stoppers will pay up to a $1000 reward for information leading to an arrest in this case, and as always, we only want your information not your name.
