Beaufort County Crime Stoppers

This week Beaufort County Crime Stoppers would like to take this time to invite anyone interested to come out and participate in our 24th Annual Beaufort County Crime Stoppers Golf Tournament. This year the tournament will be held on Thursday, April 23rd, at the Washington Yacht and Country Club in Washington, NC. Registration will be from 11:30 am-12:30 pm and will tee off at 1:00pm. There will be tournament prizes, meal and beverages followed by the award’s ceremony. Entry fees are 300 dollars per team. Beaufort County Crime Stoppers is for non-profit and relies on donations and fundraisers like this to keep Crime Stoppers going and able to reward citizens for helping solve crimes such as homicides, assaults, larcenies, wanted persons and sex offenders. Since 1997, Beaufort County Crime stoppers has paid out over $95,000 in reward money. Vehicle Break-Ins in the Bayview, Bath, Washington Areas:

On Monday February 10th the Beaufort County Sheriff’s Office received 12 separate Motor Vehicle B & E reports from citizens in the Glen Haven area of Washington and the Bayview and Mixon Creek areas of Bath. In those B&E’s the thieves took Jewelry, and money from unlocked cars under the cover of darkness. Crime Stoppers reminds you to lock your car and keep valuables and money out of sight to discourage these crimes. Crime Stoppers will pay up to a $1,000.00 for information leading to an arrest or the recover of stolen property.
