On Sunday, 08/09/2015 at 7:30 p.m. Retired Sheriff R. Alan Jordan was involved in a motor vehicle crash while riding his motorcycle in the Chocowinity area. Sheriff Jordan was flown by East Care to Vidant Medical Center in Greenville for treatment. The Beaufort County Sheriff’s Office asks for continued prayers for Sheriff Jordan and his family. The Sheriff’s Office will be providing support as they go through this difficult time. The Sheriff’s Office also ask for continued prayers for the other motorist involved in the collision and their family.
