On 8-18-2015, Investigators with the Beaufort County Sheriff’s Office Drug Unit arrested Joseph Veith, 32 years of age, of 340 Seafarer Drive in Arapahoe and Dennis Lupton, 30 years of age, of 66 Old Lupton Road in Merritt. They were charged with Possession of Heroin and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.
Their arrest stemmed from Investigators conducting a traffic stop on a vehicle that Veith was driving. K-9 Elza alerted on the vehicle and Investigators conducted a search. Investigators found bindles of Heroin under the driver’s seat and passenger’s seat.
Veith and Lupton were confined in the Beaufort County Detention Center under a $2,500.00 secured bond.
