On August 3, 2015 at approximately 2:15 pm, the Beaufort County Sheriff’s Office received a report of a possible meth lab and suspicious people at residence on Shelter Lane in Chocowinity. Patrol Deputies and Narcotics Investigators responded and determined there was no meth lab, however a deceased dog was located during the search.
