On 01-23-2015, Investigators with the Beaufort County Sheriff’s Office Drug Unit arrested Philip Zachary Tankard, 34 years of age, of 1092 Old Bath Highway in Washington. Tankard was charged with Possession with Intent to Sell and Deliver Marijuana, Possession with Intent to Sell and Deliver Schedule VI (Marijuana THC Oil) and Possession with Intent to Sell and Deliver Schedule VI (Marijuana THC Wax), Maintaining a Dwelling for Keeping and Selling a Controlled Substance, Possession of a Firearm by a Felon and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.
Tankard arrest stemmed from Investigators executing a Search Warrant at Tankard’s residence. Investigators found Marijuana, Marijuana Wax, seven (7) boxes of JuJu Joints that contain 45% THC Cannabis Oil, digital scales, packaging materials and a Ruger M77 25-06 rifle. Marijuana Wax contains 82% to 99% THC that is extracted from the marijuana plant. JuJu Joints are Co2 charged and Cannabis Oil loaded electronic cigarettes that are sold in states where Marijuana is legal.
Tankard was confined in the Beaufort County Detention Center under a $20,000.00 secured bond.
