On February 1, 2015, the Beaufort County Sheriff’s Office received a report of a Larceny from a business on Old New Bern Road, Chocowinity. Deputies learned 42 aluminum and steel semi-truck rims were taken. The Sheriff’s Office began an investigation, conducted interviews and collected evidence.

As a result, Investigator Jeremy Landeck applied for and obtained warrants charging Jeffrey Allen Nobles, age 38, of Old New Bern Road, Chocowinity and with one count of Breaking and or Entering, one count of Larceny After Breaking and Entering, one count of Felony Larceny, and two counts of Obtaining Property by False Pretense. A second suspect, Amy Elizabeth Fountain, age 38, of Clarks Neck Road, Washington was also charged with one count of Breaking and or Entering, one count of Larceny After Break and Entering, two counts of Felony Larceny, six counts of Obtaining Property by False Pretense, and two counts of Misdemeanor Larceny.

On February 13, 2015, Ms. Fountain was arrested at the Magistrate’s Office and held in the Beaufort County Detention Center on a $3,000.00 secured bond set by Magistrate Jasper Mills.

On February 14, 2015, Mr. Nobles was arrested at the Magistrates Office and released on a $2,500.00 unsecured bond set by Magistrate Jasper Mills.
