On 02-20-2018, The Beaufort County Sheriff’s Office Drug Unit arrested Christopher Spencer, 36 years of age, of 3300 Hwy. 33 West in Greenville, Ashley Hill, 28 years of age, of 1309 New Hill Road in Holly Springs and Jercarl Johnson, 23 years of age, of 116 Concore Drive in Greenville. They were charged with Trafficking in and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.
Their arrest stemmed from Investigators conducting a traffic stop on a vehicle after Investigators witnessed Spencer, the driver of the vehicle snort heroin while being parked at a gas station. Investigators conducted a search of the vehicle and found approximately 70 bags of heroin, used syringes, snorting straws and Narcan. Narcan is a medication used to reverse the effects of opiates during an overdose.
During the traffic stop Investigators learned that Hill was wanted in Wake County for Probation Absconder. Hill was confined in the Beaufort County Detention Center under a $200,000.00 secured bond.
Spencer and Johnson were confined in the Beaufort County Detention Center under a $150,000.00 secured bond.
