The Beaufort County 911 Communications Center is the critical lifeline connecting our citizens to help when seconds matter. As the county’s Primary Public Safety Answering Point (PSAP), we proudly deliver enhanced 911 services 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year.

Our highly trained team of professionals—including Telecommunicators, Supervisors, an Assistant Director, and the 911/Communications Director—stands ready to answer your call for help and guide responders to your location with speed and accuracy.

Our state-of-the-art center features four fully redundant dispatch positions. Every console can independently receive 911 calls, access critical data, and dispatch any agency in the county—ensuring no call ever goes unanswered, even during equipment maintenance or high-call volumes.
When you dial 911 in Beaufort County, your call comes directly to us. Our Telecommunicators are the calm, professional voice on the other end of the line—gathering life-saving information, providing pre-arrival instructions, and dispatching the right help, right away.
