Update on Road Conditions in Beaufort County
Winter weather doesn’t end when the snowfall stops. In fact, some of the most dangerous driving conditions appear after the snow has cleared, when roads look passable but remain unpredictable and hazardous. Peaceful Outcome after Man Barricades Himself in Residence

Patrol and K9 Operations Net 10 Felony Arrests in 15 Days
In the past month, Beaufort County Sheriff’s Office Patrol and K9 Division have arrested 10 people in the county on felony drug charges. These arrests are the result of proactive patrolling, performing traffic stops, utilizing K9’s, and the execution of a search warrant. Illicit drugs seized off the street as a result of these arrests include 102 grams of cocaine, 12 grams of methamphetamine and 17 grams of fentanyl.
