Pantego Man Arrested for Stealing Farm Equipment

On April 14th, 2026, Deputies with the Beaufort County Sheriff's Office responded to an address on Bell Road in Pantego, NC in reference to several items stolen.

The items included farm equipment, a forklift, I-Beams, and several other items. An investigation was conducted, and it was determined that the stolen items were taken to Hardee’s Recycling in Washington and sold for scrap metal.

After Detectives conducted their investigation, 37-year-old Drew Allen Bell, of Pantego, NC was charged with the following:

• 6 counts of Obtaining Property False Pretense

• 3 counts of Felony Larceny

• 1 count of Felony Breaking and Entering

• 1 count of Felony Larceny after Breaking and Entering

• 3 counts of Misdemeanor Larceny

Bell was arrested and held at the Beaufort County Detention Center under a $10,000 Secured Bond.
