Concealed Handgun Permits

The concealed handgun permit is managed by the Beaufort County Sheriff's Office. The fee for a new permit is $90, while renewing an existing permit costs $75. Please be aware that all permit fees are non-refundable. If you decide to apply online, there will be an additional convenience fee of $7.94 charged by our vendor (this fee does not go to the Beaufort County Sheriff's Office). Veterans can benefit from our discount, which reduces the cost to $55 for a new permit and $40 for a renewal.
