Drug Abuse Resistance Education
The Beaufort County Sheriff’s Office is proud to reintroduce the DARE (Drug Abuse Resistance Education) program to our local schools. Led by certified DARE Officers, Corporal Riley Davis and Corporal Macy Kelly, the program brings proven, interactive lessons that help students build the confidence and skills they need to make safe and responsible choices.

DARE’s modern curriculum focuses on critical thinking, good decision-making, and healthy communication. Through engaging activities and open conversations, students learn how to:
-
Manage stress
-
Navigate peer pressure
-
Make constructive decisions—both inside and outside the classroom

We are proud to announce that as of January 12, 2026, a total of 331 students have graduated from the DARE Program. Thanks to Corporal Davis and Corporal Kelly, who continue to provide this valuable service by guiding and empowering the next generation of students in Beaufort County.
