No appointment needed. We offer fingerprinting services on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays from 8:30AM to 11:30AM. Please bring a valid photo ID and $10 in cash, as card payments are not accepted for fingerprinting services.

You can request a copy of an incident report by completing an incident report request form online. You will need the OCA (Originating Case Agency) number, which is written on the back of the business card the deputy provided.

The fee for a new permit is $90, while renewing an existing permit costs $75. Please be aware that all permit fees are non-refundable. If you decide to apply online, there will be an additional convenience fee of $7.94 charged by our vendor (this fee does not go to the Beaufort County Sheriff's Office). Veterans can benefit from our discount, which reduces the cost to $55 for a new permit and $40 for a renewal. You can request a house or business check through our website by completing a short online request form. Please allow 3–5 business days for your request to be reviewed and scheduled.

For non-emergencies, you can call the Sheriff’s Office 24‑hour main line at (252) 946‑7111. During regular business hours, your call is answered by front office staff; after hours, weekends, and holidays, your call is answered by 911 telecommunicators on their non‑emergency line.
