No appointment needed. We offer fingerprinting services on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays from 8:30AM to 11:30AM. Please bring a valid photo ID and $10 in cash, as card payments are not accepted for fingerprinting services.

You can request a copy of an incident report by completing an incident report request form (https://www.beaufortcountysheriff.org/incident-report-request)online. You will need the OCA (Originating Case Agency) number, which is written on the back of the business card the deputy provided.

The cost for a new permit is $90, while renewing an existing permit costs $75. Please note that all permit fees are non-refundable. If you choose to apply online,(https://beaufortso.permitium.com/entry) an additional convenience fee of $7.94 will be charged by our vendor (this fee does not go to the Beaufort County Sheriff's Office).

You can request a house or business check through our website by completing a short online request form.(https://www.beaufortcountysheriff.org/house-checks) Please allow 3–5 business days for your request to be reviewed and scheduled.

The Beaufort County Sheriff’s Office does not provide criminal background checks directly to the public.
