Detective Completes Polygraph Program

The Beaufort County Sheriff's Office proudly congratulates Detective Hill on completing the National Polygraph Academy's 400-hour Basic Polygraph Examiner Program on Friday, June 19, 2026.

The intensive 10-week program was conducted at the Samarcand Training Academy in Jackson Springs, North Carolina, and is accredited by the American Polygraph Association and recognized by the American Association of Police Polygraphists. Through this rigorous training, Detective Hill gained specialized knowledge in validated polygraph examination techniques and professional scoring methods used by agencies across the nation.

This accomplishment reflects Detective Hill's dedication to professional development and strengthens the investigative capabilities of the Beaufort County Sheriff's Office. We are proud of his commitment to excellence and his continued service to the citizens of Beaufort County.
