BCSO Detectives Bring Forensic Science to Care-O-World

Detectives with the Beaufort County Sheriff's Office had the opportunity to visit Care-O-World in Washington, NC to teach a fingerprinting class!

Students learned how fingerprints are collected, the different fingerprint patterns, and how detectives use this important forensic tool to help solve crimes. They even had the chance to see their own unique fingerprints up close and learn why no two people have the same set.

A big thank you to the staff and students at Care-O-World for welcoming us and making it such a fun, interactive learning experience. We always enjoy connecting with our community and inspiring the next generation through education!
