Illegal Firearm Seized - Multiple Arrested

On July 1st, 2026, members of the Beaufort County Sheriff's Office Special Operations Division, Street Crimes Unit, arrested multiple individuals related to firearms offenses. Deputies arrested the following individuals:
20-year-old Qua'maine Tyshaun Wrighton of Plymouth, NC
Possess Weapon of Mass Destruction
Carrying a Concealed Gun
Wrighton's Bond: $100,000 secured bond
21-year-old Kyler Alan Whitchurch of Manteo, NC
Possess Weapon of Mass Destruction
Possession of a Firearm by Felon
Carrying a Concealed Gun
Whitchurch's Bond: $150,000
20-year-old Ramir Saiym Williams of Kill Devil Hills, NC
Possess Weapon of Mass Destruction
Carrying a Concealed Gun
Williams' Bond: $25,000 secured bond
19-year-old Jamiya Zhenter Dixon of Washington, NC
Possess Weapon of Mass Destruction
Carrying a Concealed Gun
Assault on a Government Official
Injury to Real Property
Dixon's Bond: $6,000 secured bond
18-year-old Mauri La'Tory Carr of Plymouth, NC
Possess Weapon of Mass Destruction

Carr's Bond: $31,000 secured bond
