Joint Agency Investigation Results in Trafficking Charges

During the first week of July 2026, Beaufort County Sheriff’s Office Drug Unit members, assisted by the Halifax County Sheriff’s Office, arrested 29-year-old Raheem Lamar Mallory of Roanoke Rapids, NC.
Mallory’s arrest stemmed from a joint investigation with the Halifax County Sheriff’s Office and resulted in charges to include:
Two counts of Trafficking in Fentanyl
One count of PWIMSD Methamphetamine
Mallory was booked in the Beaufort County Detention Center under a $100,000 secured bond.
