Suspect Arrested for Burglary & Weapons Charges

On July 16th, 2026, members of the Beaufort County Sheriff’s Office and Washington Police Department arrested 21-year-old Larry Jakato Ebron Jr. of Washington, NC, for outstanding warrants.


Ebron was wanted for missing court on June 1st, 2026. Additionally, Ebron had active warrants for the following charges:

  • Felony First Degree Burglary

  • Felony Break/Enter to Terrorize

  • Two counts of Misdemeanor Assault by Pointing a Gun


Ebron was spotted by law enforcement in the Washington area. Deputies tracked Ebron to an apartment. Ebron attempted to flee law enforcement before retreating into a residence for a brief time. Ultimately, Ebron surrendered, and no one was injured.

Ebron was held in the Beaufort County Detention Center under no bond.


This successful operation was a collaborative effort between the Beaufort County Sheriff’s Office and Washington Police Department.
